TempMailNest privacy policy

What TempMailNest processes, why it is needed, how long it remains, and how to contact the service operator.

Operator and contact

TempMailNest is operated under the TempMailNest service name. Privacy questions and deletion requests can be sent to privacy@tempmailnest.com. The effective date of this policy is July 21, 2026.

Data we process

To provide a temporary inbox, we process the generated address, message sender and subject, readable message text, receipt time, message size, attachment-presence indicator, a random access-token hash, and expiry time. Attachments are not stored. For address-creation limits, the connecting IP address is converted into a salted one-way hash; the plain IP is not written to the application database.

Purpose and legal basis

Data is processed only to receive and display requested messages, protect access to the inbox, enforce security and capacity limits, prevent abuse, select an initial language, diagnose failures, and comply with applicable law. Depending on location, processing is based on providing the requested service, legitimate security interests, consent where required, or legal obligations.

Retention and deletion

An inbox starts with 10 minutes and can be extended to a maximum of 60 minutes. Closing a browser tab removes its local session token but does not immediately delete server data. Users can delete a message or replace the inbox earlier. Expired inbox data is queued for cleanup every five minutes; operational failures or abuse backlogs may cause a short additional delay. Rate-limit hashes are deleted after about two hours.

Service providers and international processing

Cloudflare provides network delivery, Turnstile bot verification, Workers execution, D1 database storage, R2 object storage, Email Routing, security, and operational logging. Turnstile may process browser, device, and network signals needed to distinguish automated requests. Data may be processed in countries where Cloudflare operates. We do not sell temporary message data and do not use message contents for advertising profiles.

Your choices and rights

Do not use TempMailNest for data that must remain available. You may delete individual messages or replace the inbox while you still hold the session token. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability by contacting privacy@tempmailnest.com. We may need limited information to verify and locate a request.

Cookies and policy changes

A language-preference cookie and browser storage are used for locale selection and temporary inbox access. Advertising or analytics cookies will not be activated without the notices and consent required for the visitor’s region. Material policy changes will be posted here with a revised effective date.

Google advertising

When advertising is enabled, Google AdSense and its partners may use cookies, IP addresses, device or browser information, and ad interactions to deliver, limit, secure, and measure ads, and to personalize ads where the visitor has consented and applicable law permits. TempMailNest does not provide temporary message contents to Google for advertising profiles. Required consent choices will be offered by region.
