What is a temporary email address?
A temporary email address is a short-lived inbox that receives messages without revealing your primary email. It is useful for one-time verification, trials, and low-risk signups.
When should I use disposable email?
Use it for low-risk registrations and verification messages. Do not use it for banking, account recovery, important purchases, or services you may need later.
How long does an inbox last?
A new inbox starts with 10 minutes and can be extended in 10-minute steps up to 60 minutes. The address and stored messages are then deleted.
Can I send email?
No. TempMailNest is receive-only. This reduces abuse and keeps the service focused on fast, private verification.
Why has my message not arrived?
Delivery can take a short time depending on the sender. Refresh the inbox, confirm the address, and make sure the mailbox has not expired.
Can I recover an expired inbox?
No. Expired inboxes and messages cannot be recovered, so copy any information you need before the timer ends.
Why do some sites block temporary email?
Some services block known temporary-mail domains to reduce account farming or fraud. TempMailNest cannot override another site’s policy; use a permanent address when continued access matters.
How is this different from an alias?
A temporary inbox expires with its messages. An alias normally forwards mail to a permanent account and is better when you need future recovery or replies.
Can developers use it for email testing?
It can check basic receipt and message rendering, but it is not a substitute for a controlled staging mailbox, delivery logs, or tests of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
